Wendy’s Co. Has collaborated with cloud kitchen operator Rebel Foods Pvt to widespread the fast food chain’s physical presence in India to 150 countries.
The president for international development at Wendy’s, Abigail Pringle said, “India is a strategic, high-growth potential market for us.”
Wendy’s has introduced some burgers to the liking of its Indian customers such as the Spicy Aloo Crunch Burger with potatoes, a Paneer Delight Burger with cottage cheese, and spicy Masala Fries.
Currently, Wendy’s is in 90 locations across 19 cities in India, with its three traditional restaurants operated by Rebel.
Rebel is in discussion with many other global fast dining and restaurant chains for similar collaborations. It has already been working with multiple home-grown brands and is spread over 70 cities with 450 kitchens across India.
