On September 16th, Qutub Minar, the renowned 13th-century monument and a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in New Delhi, underwent a remarkable transformation as it was illuminated in the vibrant colours of the Mexican flag to commemorate Mexico's 213th Independence Day. This unusual but captivating display echoed the style of the Burj Khalifa, adding a touch of grandeur to the celebration.
Traditionally, Qutub Minar has been illuminated in the Indian Tricolor on India's Independence Day, but this unique gesture showcased the strong friendship and cultural exchange between Mexico and India. The Embassy of Mexico in India proudly shared these mesmerizing images on social media platforms.
