In a surprising turn of conflict, a violent argument with a security guard over a parking disagreement resulted in Gaurav Sisodia, a bar owner in Greater Noida, firing 6 rounds. The local community is in shock following the incident that happened late on Monday night at the Radha Sky Gardens residential complex in Sector 16 B. The Conflict gets Worse
According to reports, the fight started at a long-running parking spot that had been boiling for days between the owner and security guards. Radha Sky Gardens resident Ashutosh Srivastava revealed that tension had been high for a while before the argument blew out. Srivastava said the two sides had previously fought throughout the day, exchanging physical punches and verbal abuse.
But on Monday evening, the conflict took a dangerous turn. Sisodia, the proprietor of Greater Noida West's Tathastu Pub, is charged with showing up to the apartment complex drunk. He allegedly talked to the security guards and started shouting with them over the parking problem, according to witnesses. The residence and security guard got scared when Sisodia suddenly turned the condition by taking his licenced gun and firing 6 bullets into the air. The incident might have easily turned serious, but luckily none of the security guard guards were injured.
Viral Videos Show the Seriousness of the Conflict
Sisodia and one of the guards are seen arguing angrily in videos of the conflict that have gone viral on social media. One of the videos shows Sisodia challenging the guard to a slap, to which the officer replies, “Why should I slap you? Poor guards are being harassed by you.” In response, Sisodia said “Am I harassing the poor? You are misbehaving” just served as fuel for the conflict.
Sisodia allegedly charges the guards with harassing women and threatens to strike them as the conflict gets heated. He is seen holding a man by the collar during a particularly stressful scene, while other people try to break up the conflict. The violence allegedly got worse when Sisodia threatened to shoot the guards. Residents, including women, can be seen in the footage attempting to step in and stop the situation from getting worse.
Police Respond to the Scene
The security guard at Radha Sky Gardens filed a complaint, and the local police quickly arrived on the scene. Deputy Commissioner of Police ( Central Noida) Sakti Mohan Awasthi confirmed that Sisodia fired the bullets during his conflict with the security guard. Police have filed a complaint against him for his behaviour, and they are still looking into it.
Authorities are analyzing the incident's CCTV footage to collect further evidence and identify the chronology of incidents. Sisodia was charged with illegally firing his handgun and causing problems in public after being taken into custody. The finding of the continuing inquiry will decide whether to take additional legal action.
