Delhi Influencer Faces FIR Over Alleged Racial Abuse of Tripura Youth 🚨

A viral video showing Delhi-based social media influencer Amir Shokeen allegedly making racist remarks against a young man from Tripura has sparked widespread outrage across the country.

In the footage circulating online, Shokeen is seen allegedly mocking the youth’s physical appearance and referring to him as “Chinese,” triggering strong criticism on social media.

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju also condemned the incident, reportedly calling the influencer an “evil man” and assuring that Delhi and Tripura Police would take action.

Following public outrage and formal complaints, the Delhi Police has reportedly registered an FIR against Shokeen. The influencer later issued an apology, claiming the video was a “scripted joke.” However, the incident has reignited conversations about racial discrimination and the treatment of people from Northeast India.

Racism is not a joke. Everyone deserves dignity and respect, regardless of their appearance or background.
