Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, is all set to flag off 3 new Vande Bharat Express trains, ultimately connecting three major routes in the country that were earlier in dire need of improved rail connectivity and speedier travel. Expansion of Railway Network with Vande Bharat Trains

Vande Bharat Express has become synonymous with speed, comfort, and efficiency. Today, three new routes bring Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Uttar Pradesh-major cities that act as important connective nodes in India's rail network into the mainstream. Chennai Central to Nagercoil Junction:

This will link the Tamil Nadu capital of Chennai with Nagercoil, which is near the southern tip of the state. The train will run six days a week and pass through prominent cities such as Tambaram, Villupuram, and Madurai. In this regard, it is expected to provide a great impetus to connectivity in Tamil Nadu and help commuters and tourists alike.

Madurai to Bengaluru Cantonment:

This Vande Bharat Express will connect Madurai in Tamil Nadu to Bengaluru in Karnataka, operating six days a week, with a special intention to drastically cut down travel time for the much-needed improved connectivity between the two major cities in South India. This will be more useful for business people and others visiting their relatives; hence, it is an important part of the network.

Meerut City to Lucknow:

The fast train will run from Meerut to Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh, passing through important cities such as Ghaziabad and Bareilly. The route operates six days a week, with the specific intention of facilitating and promoting religious tourism, while helping reduce inconveniences for daily commuters and traders.

Technological Advancement and Passenger Comfort

The new Vande Bharat Express trains are technologically ahead compared to the coaches used by Indian Railways, with improved safety features and better amenities.
