Good news awaits the beneficiaries of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Varanasi on June 18 to release the 17th installment of the scheme to farmers. The event will be organized by the Union Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare in collaboration with the Uttar Pradesh government. During the event, PM Modi will distribute Rs 20,000 crore to more than 9.26 crore beneficiary farmers.
What is PM Kisan Yojana?
The PM Kisan Yojana is a central scheme that provides financial assistance to millions of farmers. It offers an annual financial benefit of Rs 6,000, distributed in three equal installments of Rs 2,000 each. With the release of the 17th installment, Rs 20,000 crore will be disbursed to around 9.3 crore farmers nationwide. Additionally, over 2 crore farmers are expected to participate in the Kisan Sammelan, both physically and virtually.
Who Is Eligible for the 17th Installment?
The 17th installment benefits all landholding farmers’ families with cultivable land registered in their names.
How to Check Beneficiary Status?

Visit the official PM-Kisan portal at pmkisan.gov.in.

Navigate to the ‘Farmers Corner’ section on the landing page.

Click on the ‘Beneficiary Status’ option.

Enter the required details such as Aadhaar number, bank account number, or mobile number.

Click on ‘Get Report.’

The current status of your application and payments will be displayed.
