Fintech services company PhonePe has issued a response to what it claims as the "unauthorized usage" of its logo by the Madhya Pradesh Congress. They have expressed their intention to potentially pursue legal actions against the party. The posters, displaying Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, with a message suggesting payment of a 50 percent commission for getting work done, were found in multiple locations, including Gwalior, Chindwara, Rewa, Satna, and Bhopal. These posters resembled QR code sheets commonly used by fintech companies for online payments, with the 'PhonePe' logo visibly featured.
Taking to their Twitter handle, PhonePe clarified that they object to any unauthorized use of their brand logo, regardless of the party or campaign involved. They firmly asserted that they have no affiliation with any political campaign or party
