Phase 6 of the Lok Sabha elections will take place on May 25, covering 57 constituencies across seven states and Union Territories. The nomination process began on April 29, with the final date for nominations being May 6.
Over 11.13 crore voters will be surveyed across 1.14 lakh polling stations, with over 8.93 lakh registered 85+ years old, 23,659 voters above 100 years old, and 9.58 lakh PwD voters eligible for home voting. 20 special trains have been deployed to ferry security personnel, and 184 observers have already reached their constituencies days before the polls. A total of 2222 flying squads, 2295 static surveillance teams, 819 video surveillance teams, and 569 video viewing teams are monitoring the election process.
