AAP MP Sanjay Singh called the NEET controversy a huge scam that has ruined the future of crores of students because of paper leaks in the last 2-3 years.

The minister of health in Delhi, Saurabh Bharadwaj, insisted that an investigation be launched under the supervision of the Supreme Court. He addressed the reporters by saying that

"It is a matter of the future of 24 lakh students. The government should take action and conduct an investigation. We are sitting here because we want that there should be a Supreme Court-monitored inquiry."

Addressing a question, he stated that MPs should engage in discussion about the matter in Parliament. Mr. Bharadwaj also gave the example of Bihar, where a day before the exam was held on May 5, some candidates received the question paper and answers at a "safe house" close to Patna. The Bihar Economic Officer (BEO) has issued notices to 9 candidates on the matter, demanding them to show up at their Patna office in connection with the case.
