Mukesh Ambani receives new threat: ₹400 crore ransom, Mumbai Police urges attention.

Mukesh Ambani, the Chairman and Managing Director of Reliance Industries, is receiving fresh threatening emails, a follow up to previous threatening emails . Previously he receieved two more emails between october 31 and November 1. The same sender who previously demanded ₹200 crore on October 28 has now sent another warning email, this time demanding ₹400 crore and threatening serious consequences if the demands are not met.

The sender of the threatening emails has been increasing the ransom amount to ₹200 crore and ₹400 crore with each subsequent email due to a lack of response to the previous messages. 

The well-known industrialist had previously received death threats through email, which included a threat to "shoot him if he didn't pay Rs 20 crore." The initial threatening email was sent on October 28, according to the Mumbai police. The sender of the emails identified themselves as Shadab Khan, as reported by the police.

A case has been registered by the Gamdevi Police in Mumbai based on a complaint from Mukesh Ambani's security in-charge against an unidentified individual under sections 387 (causing fear of death or serious harm to extort) and 506 (2) (making criminal threats) of the Indian Penal Code.
