On September 2, an attack was reported at Punjabi singer AP Dhillon's home in Vancouver, Canada. A video of the event shows several gunshots on the house and two cars parked outside are set ablaze. Lawrence Bishnoi Gang Claims Responsibility
Lawrence Bishnoi's gang which is already under investigation for the recent high-profile killings of Sidhu Moose Wala and Baba Siddique, has taken responsibility for the attack. The reason stated by the gang behind targeting Dhillon was because he collaborated with Bollywood actor Salman Khan and he appeared in one of Dhillon's music videos. The Bishnoi gang is said to be sending threatening messages to Dhillon, warning of further actions. Another member of the gang, Rohit Godara, has also claimed responsibility for other violent acts in Canada.
Arrest and Canadian Police Investigation
Abhijeet Kingra, aged 25 years from Ontario, has been arrested by the police in Canada. The Canada police have a warrant against Vikram Sharma, believed to be in India. They described Sharma as 5 feet 9-inch tall South Asian male having black hair and brown eyes.
