In a startling case from Madhya Pradesh’s Khargone district, a man absconding since 1980 was arrested after 45 years for stealing wheat worth ₹100.

The accused, now 65, was traced through mobile records of relatives and arrested from the Bagh area.

Police confirmed he had been evading a long-pending arrest warrant for decades.

He has now been produced before court and sent to jail, underscoring that the law may delay, but does not forget.
