Impact of Recent Rainfall
Recent overnight rainfall in the Ratnagiri district has worsened the situation, making it even more difficult to restore normal train operations. As a result, several trains have been held at stations including Khed, Dewankhavati, Kalambani, and Chiplun. The disruption has prompted Konkan Railway authorities to advise passengers to check the updated schedule and plan their travel accordingly. Track conditions remain unstable in some areas due to waterlogging and ongoing maintenance efforts.
