Kolkata Gets a Colourful Makeover Ahead of Durga Puja! 🌈🙏

Kolkata’s flyovers are getting a festive transformation ahead of Durga Puja, with colourful paintwork in shades of orange, pink, yellow and rainbow-inspired patterns.

Prominent structures, including the Gariahat and Chingrighata flyovers, are part of the beautification drive. Traditional Bengali alpona folk art is also adding a cultural touch to junctions such as Park Circus, Shyambazar and Garia More.

The vibrant makeover has caught residents’ attention, with videos of the decorated streets gaining traction on social media.
