Hathras in Uttar Pradesh has seen reportedly a murder of a 9-year-boy, from Class 2, in an alleged black magic activity The crime, which was based on a perverted assumption that through a human sacrifice would achieve success and fame. He was student of DL Public School in Rasgawan. The school's director who, along with three others, murdered him, according to reports.
The Dark Belief Behind the Murder
The police investigation revealed that the killing was based on belief in black magic. The school principal, Dinesh Baghel, and his father, Jashodhan alias Bhagat, were caught with three others. According to Jashodhan, also known as Bhagat Ji, killing a child would bring prosperity and success to the schoo.After killing the boy, Dinesh Baghel informed boy's family that he was ill. At school, when his family reached there, they found that their son was missing. He had first misguided the family, telling them that he had taken the boy for medical treatment. However, the family was suspicious and, in association with the police, traced Baghel. Ironically, boys lifeless body was found in the back seat of Baghel's car near Sadabad. The police sources revealed this is not for the first time that they have attempted this black magic. On another incident brought to light, when the group tried to sacrifice another child, but they were not successful that time.
Arrest and Legal Action
The Hathras police have arrested five persons immediately in this heinous crime:
- Ramprakash, of Gautam Nagar, Sadabad
- Dinesh Baghel, the manager of the school from Rasgawan, Sahpau
- Jashodhan alias Bhagat Ji, son of Rasgawan
- Lakshman Singh, Baldev, from Mathura district
- Virpal, Banka Mursan village
All five have been charged with murder and conspiracy to commit this dark act. The father of the murdered boy, Krishan Kushwaha, who is a software engineer in Delhi, has expressed his bitterness when he said, "My son has been killed by Dinesh Baghel. The incident happened at 10:00 PM." He revealed that his child was killed by 3-4 people in this horrific event.
