Family caught smuggling gold dust worth ₹ 1 Crore from Singapore in child's diaper

On September 12, 24-karat gold dust worth roughly Rs. 1.05 crores, weighing two kilograms, was seized by the airport customs from an Indian family departing from Singapore.

The travelers told Mumbai Customs that they had hidden the gold in their undergarments and their three-year-old's diaper.

The family was traveling on Indigo aircraft 6E 1012 from Mumbai to Chennai after arriving from Singapore. The two suspects are now being held in judicial custody.
