Fake Doctor among 4 Arrested After Patient Dies Following Surgery: Delhi Police

On Wednesday, the Delhi Police arrested four individuals, including a Fake doctor, in connection with the surgery that led to the tragic death of a 45-year-old man in a clinic in Greater Kailash, south Delhi.

Police said Accused Mahendra was a former technician who had obtained a fraudulent MBBS degree, and was employed at the clinic in Greater Kailash-1. He, along with the clinic owner and two other staff members who falsely claimed to hold MBBS degrees, has been arrested

A police officer mentioned, "The authenticity of their certificates is currently under verification."

The arrests followed the death of the patient after a surgery was performed on him, when he was admitted in the clinic for a minor medical issue. The patient's attendants claimed that the accused individuals were responsible for carrying out the surgery.

Sources indicate that the police received over a dozen complaints from different individuals, citing instances where patients were allegedly subjected to incorrect treatment by the doctors at the clinic.
