Ram Shankar Katheria was the former Union Minister of State, He is currently the MP from Etawah's Uttar Pradesh.
Ram Shankar Katheria has been accused of assaulting an employee of the power of supply company in 2011. The Agra court granted the BJP MP two years of imprisonment as a punishment for the assault that took place in 20011.
The MP stated that after the verdict of the Agra court, he will be appealing again. As of now the MP will loose his position[in the Lok Sabha.
