In order to provide signal-free, seamless travel to Delhi Airport, Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) on Wednesday announced the opening of two new flyovers: the Parallel Access Road (PAR) flyover and the Aerocity Flyover.
The PAR Flyover and Aerocity Flyover have respective total lengths of 600 and 800 metres. They would limit the movement of large trucks on the airport approach route to ensure smooth travel to and from Delhi International Airport.
"Traffic to and from Delhi International Airport will flow more easily thanks to the two flyovers—the Parallel Access Road Flyover and the Aerocity Flyover. According to the statement, travelling from Delhi Airport's T1 to T3 will take less time thanks to the Aerocity Flyover, a four-lane, one-way flyover that is being constructed near the Aerocity metro station intersection.
According to the statement, the flyover starts in front of the Andaz Hotel in Aerocity on the west side and finishes at Central Spine Road, just short of the Eastern Cross Taxiway.
According to the DIAL statement, there is a flyway near NH8 called the Parallel Access Road (PAR) Flyover. It is a segment of a dedicated corridor with two lanes on both carriageways for the airport's cargo terminal (to and fro).
Beginning at the Hanuman temple and ending close to the Andaz Hotel, the corridor separates heavy traffic from passenger vehicles and aids in the ongoing decongestion of the airport approach route.
