On social media platforms, The Hindi Newspaper Dainik Jagran is facing widespread criticism from Virat kohli fans from around the world, demanding the Boycott of the Newspaper Agency, after allegedly publishing a negative article against Virat Kohli aka King Kohli.
The boycott campaign of Dainik Jagran started after the newspaper published an article that compared Kohli’s approach of chasing centuries with Rohit Sharma’s approach of scoring runs for the team. In a recent India vs. England match, Kohli was dismissed for a duck, while India's captain, Rohit Sharma, played a remarkable innings of 87 runs off 101 balls, contributing to India's total of 229/9 in 50 overs. Unlike Kohli, who typically seeks centuries, Rohit Sharma was prioritising increasing the run rate, but he was dismissed while attempting to hit a boundary.

Indian Hindi newspaper Dainik Jagran printed an article about this very point and praised Rohit Sharma for going for big shots early on to give Indian team momentum. In the same piece, Virat Kohli was seemingly slammed for caring for his centuries.
The Article is published by Ankit Tripathi, Reporter of Dainik Jagran, who is under a lot of criticism and is accused of publishing reports against Virat Kohli several times.
Virat Kohli fans have come out in support of their 'idol' and are expressing their outrage on social media when an Indian Hindi newspaper published a critical article about the renowned batsman's pursuit of centuries in the tournament.
Fans are burning the Dainik Jagran newspapers and are protesting outside their office demanding an apology from the Newspaper agency.
