Chemical Factory Fire in Mohali: 5 Injuries Reported, Cause Under Investigation

A massive fire broke out today at a chemical factory in the industrial area of Chanalon in Kurali, Mohali, injuring five people. The incident, which happened around 11 a.m., prompted a quick response from local authorities and fire departments. 

The small explosions from inside the building complicated efforts to put out the fire. Reportedly, five people were injured in the incident and were subsequently admitted to the Phase-6 Civil Hospital in Mohali for treatment. The extent of their injuries remains unknown as of yet.

The exact cause of the fire remains under investigation. Local authorities have not yet released information regarding the nature of the chemicals stored in the factory or the circumstances leading to the incident.

Authorities are working diligently to ensure the safety of the affected area and its residents. The immediate vicinity of the chemical plant has been sealed off as a precautionary measure. Residents in the vicinity have been advised to stay indoors, close windows, and keep doors shut to avoid inhaling toxic smoke.
