Ten people were injured when a Visakhapatnam-Rayagada passenger train derailed in Vizianagaram, Andhra Pradesh on Sunday.
“There was a collision between two trains -08532 Visakhapatnam-Palasa Passenger with 08504 Visakhapatnam-Rayagada Passenger, where 3 coaches were involved and about 10 persons were injured," according to South Coast Railway zone official said.
The Ministry of Railways has posted a helpline number on Twitter for inquiries regarding Train derailment between Alamanda and Kantakapalle railway section.

The CM of Andhra Pradesh, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, has ordered urgent relief efforts to be taken. He has requested for as many ambulances as possible to be sent from Visakhapatnam and Anakapalli, which are the closest districts to Vizianagaram. Additionally, nearby hospitals have been asked to make all necessary arrangements to ensure good medical care, CM office's statement according reports.
