The traffic police have kindly provided guidelines for traffic and parking arrangements during the upcoming Indian Air Force air show at Upper Lake in Boat Club on Saturday. Only individuals with valid passes will be granted access to the event at Boat Club. For the convenience of the general public, designated viewing areas have been allocated from Retghat to Khanugaon on VIP Road.
In order to ensure a pleasant experience, we kindly request pass holders to arrive at least two and a half hours prior to the commencement of the event. Please note that vehicle entry in the surrounding areas and roads will not be permitted during the program, as we anticipate a high turnout.
Here are the entry and parking arrangements for your convenience.
- Blue and Green ticket holders will park their vehicles at Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya, in front of Madhya Pradesh Tourism (MPT) Wind & Wave restaurant.
-Members of the media with yellow passes will be stopped at Ranjit Lake View Hotel.
- Buses transporting 500 invited students will be stopped at Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya after dropping them at Boat Club.
- Visitors from Smart City Road, Banganga, Machli Ghar and Polytechnic will park their vehicles at Ravindra Bhawan complex.
- Visitors using the VIP Road will park their cars at Sadar Manzil, Old RTO Office, near Koh-e-Fiza Square, and walk to the VIP Road. Entry of vehicles from Polytechnic Square and Kilol Park towards the Boat Club will be restricted.
For the general public:
- Arrangements have been made for VIP road viewing from Retghat to Khanugaon.
- Pass holders can park their vehicles at various designated locations including the Polytechnic campus, Manas Bhawan campus, in front of Bharat Bhawan and Tagore Girls Hostel campus.
- No parking is allowed from Kilol Park to Kamala Park and Retghat.
- Traffic movement from Lalghati to VIP Road, Collectorate Trisection to Koh-e-Fiza, GAD Square to Karbala, and Kilol Park to VIP Road will be completely restricted during the scheme period.
