On Wednesday, January 29, 2025, Karnataka Home Minister G. Parameshwara inaugurated this new step for traffic conditions in Bengaluru. The Traffic Police Museum and Experience Centre focuses on the rules and conditions of the traffic.
It is an interactive space between the residents of Bengaluru and the traffic updates. It helps in educating the people about road safety, rules, and regulations. This was a very much-needed step for Bengaluru, as the traffic is always busy there, and it's extremely hectic.
The Traffic Management Museum mainly focuses on highlighting traffic policing and its transformation throughout the years, including traffic equipment, the uniform of the Bengaluru Traffic Police, documents, photographs, and updates on the traffic conditions to teach individuals about the traffic situation.
It also helps students to learn about the traffic situation and research it. The museum serves information to researchers, traffic professionals, and the public, who are the main reason behind its existence. It is designed in a way that the people will get updates on it, including the technological advancements and road safety.
It is highly interactive, as it has been designed in a fun way that users will enjoy the updates while learning. It includes quizzes, learning in a practical way, and games on traffic safety. Overall, the experience center provides insights into the current situation of the traffic and updates on the rules as well as the condition.
ASTram App and it's features
ASTram is a newly launched app for traffic purposes. Home Minister G. Parameshwara launched this app in order to make the traffic updates reach the public timely so that there will be a cooperative environment between the residents and the traffic police department.
The app focuses on giving updates on instant traffic conditions, violations of the traffic rules and reports, and fine payment updates. The app will help in the cooperation and interaction of people in the traffic conditions and management of the road safety.

Instant Traffic Updates: The Users can easily get updates on the Real-time traffic situation and learn about the situation in order to get an idea about their routes.

Reports on Traffic Violation: It focuses on giving ideas on the traffic rules and regulations, so, if anyone violates the rule, the apps reports it.
Updates on Traffic Fine Payments: Traffic rules should be followed in every condition, if the rules are not followed well then there should be fine payments for it such as not wear.
