With over 2.90 lakh people taken in and sheltering in 490 relief camps, rescue operations involving civil administration, the SDRF, NDRF, Emergency Services, and the Air Force are still underway. Roads, bridges, and embankments have all sustained damage, making it more difficult for the state to control the flooding.
