A shocking discovery in East Singhbhum, Jharkhand: While doing sand mining near the Swarnarekha River in Baharagora, workers unearthed a massive ANM64 500-pound American bomb weighing around 2026 kg.

Police immediately sealed the area and called in the Bomb Disposal Squad along with the Indian Air Force team from Kalaikunda.

Experts believe it could be an unexploded ordnance from World War II or possibly dropped during a 2018 fighter jet crash near the river.

The area remains on high alert as investigation continues.
