Delhi News: Wall collapse in Jaitpur tragically kills 2 children

In the southeast Delhi neighborhood of Jaitpur Extension, a wall collapsed on Friday night, killing two kids and injuring another.

A horrible tragedy occurred on Friday evening, November 24, 2023, leaving two children dead and one injured. In Southeast Delhi's Jaitpur Extension neighborhood, a wall suddenly fell. This happened yesterday evening at approximately 6:30 p.m. After the incident, Delhi police eventually made it to the scene. According to the official, the incident included three youngsters in total, which police have to find out. Three of them had each suffered severe injuries, and they were rushed to separate hospitals where two of the kids passed away and were unable to survive; the third kid was spared, but still had numerous injuries. A family member of a youngster slain in the event, Sohail, spoke to ANI and stated, "This happened around 7 pm." The event claimed the lives of a neighbor's child of the same age and my cousin's 4-year-old brother. The police were also informed by Alsifa Hospital that an eight-year-old child who had been transported there had been pronounced dead. Concurrently, PTI was informed by officials at AIIMS that a five-year-old child who was also a part of the incident had been brought to the hospital dead.

Not much has been released about the third child's details thus far. However, it has been stated that he is still alive, and neither his name nor the ages of the children have been made public as of yet. This case is presently being investigated since there are those who feel that the Delhi government need to prosecute those who began working at the site without authorization at this time.
