Panandikar's entrepreneurial journey traces back to a prophetic statement by her late father, Shrikrishna Laxman Pai, who recognized her potential to become a businesswoman during her high school years in 2005. Inspired by her father's belief, she embarked on her entrepreneurial path by designing pamphlets, brochures, and logos. However, her initial foray into the industry left her unsatisfied, as she lacked formal training in fine arts.
In a fortunate turn of events, Panandikar had the opportunity to meet Ms. Tejashri Pai, the CEO of Chowgule Industries Vehicle Department in Goa. Recognizing the potential for collaboration, Panandikar pitched her graphic design services to the company. After submitting an official quote and engaging in thorough negotiations, she secured her first major order: manufacturing and installing signage for the company.
This breakthrough marked the turning point for Silverline World, thriving for 16 years. The company specializes in providing end-to-end solutions, encompassing both design and execution, for commercial and residential spaces. Their team comprises Carpenters, painters, electricians, civil, false ceiling, Flooring, Wallpapers Fitters, Aluminium partition/cladding, Shera Cladding, Fabrication, Railings Signages, lighting, etc.
Silverline World has garnered an impressive client roster over the years. Panandikar has undertaken notable projects such as designing product display areas for esteemed companies like Crompton Greaves and Sandu Pharmaceuticals. Panandikar has cemented her reputation as a reliable and innovative entrepreneur by consistently delivering high-quality work and exceeding client expectations.
As a female business owner in a male-dominated industry, Panandikar acknowledges the gender bias that exists. However, she firmly believes that women possess exceptional mental strength, contributing to their success. In Goa, where few women venture into her work, Panandikar stands out as a trailblazer. Strategic investments in infrastructure have bolstered the growth of Silverline World. 2016 Panandikar received a loan of Rs 25 lakh from industrialist Mr. Narayan B. Bandekar, the Managing Director of NRB Group, after presenting her project report. This financial support enabled her to acquire state-of-the-art equipment, including a large-format digital printing machine, a laser cutting machine, and a channel bending machine. With these investments, Silverline World has complete control over its operations and can deliver superior-quality products and services.
Managing a successful business while juggling personal responsibilities requires exceptional time management skills. Panandikar dedicates just two hours a day to herself, one hour in the morning and one hour at night, while the rest of her day is dedicated to running her business. Her day begins at 8 am with outgoing calls to her technicians and laborers, ensuring they reach the project sites on time. Before that, she contacts her clients to inform them of the team's arrival the following day. From there, Panandikar spends her day visiting multiple project sites, overseeing the progress, and ensuring the work is executed to the highest standards.
Panandikar's team, consisting of dedicated technicians, laborers, and vendors, has been the backbone of Silverline World for the past 15 years. She values their commitment and considers them to be an integral part of her family and company. With the safety of her team as a top priority, Panandikar personally ensures that all necessary safety measures are in place before any risky task is undertaken.
