The movie 'Lal Salaam' is a Tamil sports drama, directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth and produced by Subaskaran Allirajah of Lyca Productions.
The next highly anticipated Rajnikanth's Lal Salaam gets a new release date in February. According to the recent announcement made by makers on their official social platforms, this sports action drama directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth will now hit theatres on February 9.

The makers of the movie Lyca Productions recently shared a poster of Lal Salaam on their official X account and unveiled the release date of the film. The poster shows a crimson bamboo structure on the backdrop, with the title Lal Salaam and the release date '9 Feb' written on it, and the caption read, "Namma THER THIRUVIZHA'ku Alappara kelappa neram vandhachu! (It's time to listen to our Chariot Festival) LAL SALAAM hits the big screen on February 9th 2024! Save the date!"
On November 12, the makers released the first official teaser for the Lal Salaam -the sports action drama. The teaser begins with a highly tense cricket match where the commentator describes that it is not just a game but a war. With Lal Salaam, the Tamil director Aishwarya returns after a gap of seven years.
The character glimpses of Rajinikanth from 'Lal Salaam' was released on December 12, on his 73rd birthday. He makes an extended cameo appearance in the film. In the promotional video, Rajinikanth plays a fierce avatar as Moideen Bhai. The video also featured AR Rahman's song and composition 'Jalaali Jalaal'.
Recently, Rajinikanth along with Bollywood celebrities like Ranbir Kapoor, and Alia Bhatt was invited to the inauguration ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. The inauguration ceremony will take place on January 22

In 2023, Rajnikanth's Jailer was released theatrically on 10 August 2023 with positive reviews and became the highest-grossing Tamil film of 2023 and fifth highest-grossing Indian film of 2023 and 14th highest-grossing Indian film. After running successfully in theatres for more than a month, reportedly it grossed over ₹650 crore worldwide. Intrestingly, the action film has collected more than ₹343 crore nett in India in all languages, as per a report by Sacnilk.com.
