Following the tragic event, Hyderabad Police launched an investigation and registered a case under various sections, including culpable homicide not amounting to murder and voluntarily causing hurt. The case was filed based on a complaint from the husband of the deceased woman.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central Zone) Akshansh Yadav revealed that neither Allu Arjun’s team nor the theatre management had informed the police about their visit to the theatre. Additionally, there were no extra security measures put in place to manage the large crowd at the event.
