Giving a spectacular performance as an actor in Imtiaz Ali’s ‘ Amar Singh Chamkila’, Diljit Dosanjh is now all set for his ‘DIL-LUMINATI’ 2024, a full blown North American concert tour, commencing from April 27 upto July 13.
Diljit is set to bring his DIL-LUMINATI tour to a massive crowd. On Saturday, Day 1 of his tour, it is going to be very historic as Diljit Dosanjh will be the very first Punjabi music star to perform at Vancouver's BC Place stadium, one of the largest venues.
At B.C Place, the anticipated audience for Diljit’s concert is nearly 50,000 people, making it the largest concert ever by a Punjabi artist outside India. According to the tour website, the concert debut is expected “to be the largest Punjabi show outside of India, with BC Place having a building capacity of 54,500.”
“We’re shaping up for an incredible show, I understand the biggest … Punjabi show ever outside of India. So, we’re excited. I mean … Diljit had built an entire tour off the back of the BC Place show. So, it’s a pretty great situation,” said BC Place GM Chris May.
Dosanjh's Saturday night show at BC Place sold out quickly, but tickets are still available only through resale channels at inflated prices, ranging from $100 to $7,500.
