The Chenab Bridge in Jammu and Kashmir, India, is the tallest railway bridge in the world, standing at 359 metres, which is 35 meters taller than the Eiffel Tower. Located 42 km from Reasi, it spans the Chenab River and is part of a 345 km railway line between Udhampur and Baramulla. Construction began in 2004 but was halted in 2008 due to concerns about strong winds at such heights. The bridge, which is 1.3 km long, can withstand high-intensity earthquakes and has a lifespan of 120 years. An engineering marvel that can withstand high winds and earthquakes!
