The Central Board of Secondary Education will soon be recognised as an International Board, in Global South, said the Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on 19th June 2023. He mentioned this in the 4th Annual G20 meet.
He said that this recognition will open doors for various foreign universities to collaborate with the Indian education system, as per the National Education Policy. He also mentioned that he had an opportunity to speak with a person who runs a CBSE school in Japan and Singapore. He has been told that the CBSE education system has gained a lot of traction, in those countries, in particular, math.
