On May 12, the CBSE released the Class 10 test results, with 93.12% of students passing. The pass percentage fell by 1.28% this year from 94.40% in 2021–22. To minimise "unhealthy competition," the board has also declared it will not publish the merit list. In addition, according to officials, the board has decided to stop dividing exams into first, second, and third divisions depending on student performance.
The regions with the highest Class 10 CBSE pass rates are Trivandrum (90.91%), Bengaluru (90.18%), Chennai (90.14%), Ajmer (97.27%), and Pune (96.92%). The Class 10 CBSE results show that girls fared 1.98% better than boys and had a pass rate of 94.25. The boys' pass rate was 92.27 at the same time.The class 10 board exams for the 2023–24 academic year will start on February 15, 2024, according to a CBSE announcement.
