Spectre, The First-ever All-Electric Rolls Royce has been revealed

As Rolls Royce advances toward becoming an electric brand by 2030, it has introduced its first-ever all-electric vehicle, the Spectre, a two-door coupe, all set to be made available to consumers late next year.

The Rolls Royce Spectre maintains the well-known, classic RR appearance with a tall bonnet, streamlined profile, and fastback-styled rear. The Spectre is more than 5.4 meters long and 2 meters wide. The all-electric sedan's design includes a new "Spirit of Ecstasy" on the bonnet, ultra-slim LED DRLs with the main headlamp cluster placed separately below, aero-optimized 23-inch wheels, a sloping roofline with vertical LED tail lights that are seamlessly integrated with the profile of the car, and the widest-ever grille on a Rolls Royce for improved aerodynamic efficiency.

The Rolls Royce's interior retains all the high-end amenities and technology from its regular models, along with a similar design. The Starlight liner, which now graces both the roof and door panels, is what has changed. The Spectre also has brand-new front and rear seats with custom piping, embroidery, and stitching. In addition to many other pieces of technology, the electric Rolls Royce has a fully digital instrument panel with a big touchscreen entertainment display in the middle.

The all-aluminium spaceframe structure serves as the foundation for the Rolls Royce Spectre. However, it is claimed that the Spectre's build is 30% stiffer than that of any earlier generation. Active suspension and four-wheel steering are further standard characteristics of the vehicle.

The Spectre's final powertrain parameters have not yet been disclosed by Rolls-Royce. The all-electric luxury vehicle, according to the manufacturer, should have a 520 km range (WLTP cycle). All four wheels might be powered by the electric powertrain's 585 BHP and 900 Nm of torque. Rolls Royce also asserts that the Spectre could accelerate autonomously from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds, which is remarkable given that it weighs only slightly more than 3 tonnes.

Although the Rolls Royce Spectre is scheduled to premiere and begin delivery sometime in the fourth quarter of 2023, reservations undoubtedly have already started.
