The Fronx launched by Maruti Suzuki for 7.47 lakh for the base Sigma trim and 13.14 lakh for the top-spec Alpha turbo model. The Baleno-based coupe crossover made its premiere at Auto Expo in January, and reservations for a lowly 11,000 were already being taken. The Fronx costs 86,000 more at launch compared to the Baleno, but the upper end is significantly more expensive due to the installation of a turbo-petrol engine.
The new Fronx comes in seven colors—Arctic White, Earthern Brown, Opulent Red, Splendid Silver, Bluish Black, Celestial Blue, and Grandeur Grey—and five trims—Sigma, Delta, Delta+, Zeta, and Alpha. Additionally, Earthern Brown, Opulent Red, and Splendid Silver color options come in dual-tone variations.
