A nationwide strategic agreement between Tesla Power USA and Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) was established on Thursday and will foster innovation in battery sales and distribution. The collaboration will make it possible for Tesla Power USA batteries to sell and provide services at more than 36,000 IOCL gas stations in India, increasing accessibility and convenience for consumers looking to buy and maintain vehicle batteries. This will be the Indian Oil Corporation's first nationwide partnership in the distribution of batteries. At the IOCL gas stations in the Delhi-NCR region and later in other states, Tesla Power USA batteries will be offered. If this arrangement is successful, it will be possible to replicate the idea gradually across India.
