Vistara acquires 50th Airbus 'A320neo' for its fleet

Vistara, the airline jointly operated by Tata Sons and Singapore Airlines, welcomed its 50th Airbus A320 neo plane into its fleet on Friday. This new addition brings Vistara's total aircraft count to 66, consisting of 50 Airbus A320 neo, 10 Airbus A321, and six Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.

By March next year, the airline aims to expand its fleet to 70 aircraft. In January of this year, Vistara had announced its goal of reaching a fleet size of 70 planes by mid-2024. Vistara aims to enhance its presence both within the country and abroad, with plans to have 70 aircraft by the end of FY2024. This expansion will result in improved connectivity and a broader network for its valued customers, as stated by the airline.

Vistara has a network of more than 300 flights every day, linking 32 cities within the country and 18 destinations abroad.
