Following the UAE at the top of the list are Germany, Sweden, Finland, Luxembourg, Spain, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, and South Korea. Japan is ranked 24th in the world. Passport holders from Japan can easily travel to 171 countries.
According to this year’s passport index list published by Henley and partners, Japan is ranked at the top of the list. While Pakistan is ranked at the 94th position, Iraq is at the 95th position, Syria is at the 96th position, and Afghanistan is ranked at the 97th position.

The "Total Visa Free Score" is a number of points assigned to a passport based on the number of countries to which a passport holder can travel without a visa or without the need for a visa or electronic travel document once in that country.
