Singapore woman makes longest food delivery to Antarctica in history

Well, almost every human lives to eat rather than eating to live. Since the bloom of the internet lead to more connectivity between people from various continents, eating foreign food items from the comfort of sitting at home has become a trend. Sitting in India and having Italian pasta and pizzas ordered from Swiggy or Zomato is quite normal these days. However, the taste of an Italian pizza differs from the one we order or cook. But what if someone wanted authentic taste?

In order to go above and beyond, Maanasa Gopal from Singapore delivered meals to her client in Antarctica. She traveled the furthest length of the globe to deliver packages to Antarctica from Singapore.

Maanasa described her adventure in an Instagram video, claiming that she traveled across four continents and over 30,000 kilometers to hand out food to Antarctica.

She is seen in the video moving while holding a meal package in her hand. She set out from Singapore, went through Hamburg, Buenos Aires, and Ushuaia, and eventually arrived in Antarctica. The video shows Gopal traveling via numerous swampy and snowy routes. She serves the meal to her customer while dodging all obstacles.

She mentioned in the post that she sent special food from Singapore to Antarctica. "Super excited to partner with the amazing folks at @foodpandasg to pull this off. It's not every day that you get to deliver Singaporean flavors across 30,000+ km and four continents to one of the most remote places on earth!" her caption stated.

More than 38,000 people have watched the video and left many opinions. Social media users praised the deed as "Incredible" and "Insaneee," respectively. Amusing questions about the delivery charges paid by the customer were also mentioned in the comments section.

"Wow....you did an excellent committed task and first time in history for such a long way delivery from SGP to Antarctica," another user wrote.

In a different post, Maanasa disclosed that in 2021, while seeking for a company to sponsor it, she attempted to gather money for her Antarctic voyage. She continued by saying that Food Panda had responded to her last month and was intent on making it possible.
