Tim Cook will launch the first Apple store in India

Apple CEO Tim Cook is set to visit India soon to launch the company's first owned store in the country. Cook's visit will involve discussions with key ministers on strategic issues such as manufacturing expansion and exports, and he may also meet with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, whom he previously met during his 2016 visit to India. The itinerary for Cook's visit is currently being finalised by Apple's headquarters, and the launch date for the Mumbai store will be decided accordingly. Deirdre O'Brien, the senior vice president of Apple, is set to join CEO Tim Cook on an upcoming visit. The purpose of the visit is unknown, but it is likely related to Apple's business operations or partnerships. The Mumbai store, which is inspired by the city's kaali-peeli taxi art, is scheduled to launch later this month at the Jio World Drive Mall. During his last visit to India, Cook had the opportunity to meet with Bollywood stars, attend a cricket match, and review Apple's operations in the country.
