Participants will earn a Career Essentials certificate after completing the course material, making it a desirable alternative for people seeking professional certification in Generative AI. With the second-largest pool of AI talent in the world, India has established itself as a leader in this industry as the need for AI skills increases internationally. India leads in both the concentration of AI specialists and the penetration of AI capabilities, which is already impressive.
Although there are over 420,000 people in the nation who are experts in AI, machine learning, and big data analytics, there is still a significant 51% gap between the demand for such talent and its supply. Microsoft has adopted a proactive stance to solve this issue because it recognises the revolutionary impact of AI and the fact that the fast-paced nature of information work is exceeding our capacity to deal. Their campaign is centred on educating people about AI. Microsoft claims that over the past two years, it has trained over 70,000 female students in AI who are from Tier II and III towns. The objective is to close the knowledge gap and encourage the widespread deployment of AI. The Director and Head of Philanthropies of Microsoft India, Gunjan Patel, emphasises the critical need for AI capabilities in business training plans. Along with analytical and creative thinking, these abilities are the third most important.
Patel emphasises the need of ensuring that everyone has the necessary skills to properly use AI while acknowledging the potential for AI to empower employees.
