India now has access to the verified subscription bundle from Meta that includes proactive account protection, access to account assistance, and a verified badge that verifies accounts with official identification. For Rs. 699 per month, users can subscribe to Meta Verified on Facebook or Instagram. Both iOS and Android devices can use this service.
Meta intends to offer a web-purchase option in the near future for Rs 599 less each month. Accounts that were confirmed before Meta-Confirm was introduced will keep their verified badges. Accounts must have a certain amount of activity, such as a history of prior postings, and applicants must be at least 18 years old in order to qualify for a verified subscription.
The next stage is for applicants to submit a government-issued ID that matches the name and photo on the Facebook or Instagram profile they are requesting. Businesses cannot now apply to become "meta-verified. Rumour has it that Meta Platforms Inc., the parent company of Facebook, will begin enforcing a new policy in September that will require assigned staff to spend three days a week at their designated offices.
An employee of Meta who spoke on behalf of the company emphasised the company's dedication to distributed work and the idea that employees can have a substantial impact both in the office and at home.
