In the 3rd T20I game against Sri Lanka, India had to defend 9 runs in the last two overs, and there came an unexpected twist when Indian skipper Suryakumar Yadav came to bowl the final over and took the game into the super over, and eventually winning it. India also beat Sri Lanka in the bilateral T20I series by 3-0 and remains the undisputed champions of the format.
