Saurashtra are the new superstars as they are shining on India's cricketing map on Sunday.
Ravindra Jadeja, their outstanding all-rounder, ensured Australia's defeat in Delhi about halfway through the third day. Saurashtra won the Ranji Trophy for the second time in four years, this time in Kolkata.
They defeated Bengal by nine wickets on their own turf, riding on a six-wicket haul from skipper Jaydev Unadkat and three from Chetan Sakariya, a fellow left-arm seamer. They have won their second title this season after winning the 50-over Vijay Hazare Trophy.
