Yesterday, 12 May, the IPL match between MI and GT, turned into an amazing start for GT’s player Rashid Khan. Rashid Khan made his first ever IPL Fifty with 32 balls and 79 runs. MI won yesterday's match but Rashid khan didn’t give them any chance to secure the run rate at a much higher level.
Gujrat won the toss and let MI bat first. Suryakmar Yadav, with his amazing skills, made an IPL century and set a target of 219 for Gujrat. Also, with a powerful bowling strategy, MI took 7 wickets within 100 runs. Rashid Khan, the Number 8 player of Gujrat, then charged up the team, who lost their hopes. With 3 fours and 10 sixes, he made 79 runs and had an outstanding record.
Rashid's performance yesterday helped GT to increase the run rate.
