Gautam Gambhir has been made the head coach of Team India but the question still remains on the internet that how much will be the package.
So if sources are to be believed, Gautam Gambhir will get the same salary as the previous head coaches Ravi Shastri and Rahul Dravid. That means 12 crore rupees annually.
Now here you might think that why do superstars like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, who have A+ contracts with BCCI, get less salary than the head coach i.e. 7 crores. Why this discrimination?
The thing here is that there are multiple sources of income for players, advertisements, cricket leagues and spinner ships. So there are not so many sources of income for a head coach and that is why his salary is more than a star player. It is true that by the way, Gautam Gambhir has been brought after spending so much.
