The La Liga powerhouse Barcelona is reportedly thinking of replacing their club crest, as reported by Sportsbrief and Footy Headlines. The club is reportedly considering making significant modifications to their crest as part of an effort to rebrand.
The new logo is expected to be proposed in 2023, and it is anticipated that it will be used for the 2024–25 season. It's been twenty years since Barcelona's logo was altered. Since then, the fabled striped jersey has been worn by numerous superstars, including Xavi, Iniesta, and Lionel Messi, who have helped the Blaugrana win innumerable trophies.
Some components of the existing Barca logo, such as the word FCB, which is also used by Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich, are things the Catalan club would like to replace.
Catalan journalist Carles Aguilar Catalán revealed that FC Barcelona's new logo won't be a modified version of the 2018 edition but rather probably a larger overhaul. "Barça could soon recover the idea of changing their crest", according to the journalist. He also admits that he "does not know if it's advanced or not".
