Only 17, but Lamine Yamal has already become the new talking point in football media circles. Sport reports that Barcelona has agreed to terms with Yamal and his agent, Jorge Mendes, to sign a new deal once the player turns 18 years old in 2024. The new deal will keep him at Camp Nou until 2030.
Earlier this month, Mendes met Barcelona president Joan Laporta and sporting director Deco in order to conclude the formalities for Yamal's extension. Renewal reportedly will include very significant pay improvements since Yamal represents growing importance in the side and he's crucial in the long-term future.
