Diverse set of organic molecules found on Mars by NASA's Perseverance rover

Nasa’s latest Perseverance rover has found invaluable organic material in the Jezero Crater. These organic molecules form the basis of life on Earth, which are primarily made of components such as carbon, hydrogen and oxygen etc. It is said in one of the research papers in the journal “Nature” that this could potentially indicate a sign of life on the Red Planet.

The authors of this journal have written that the organic material, present on the outer surface of Mars, is capable of extracting information about the Martian Carbon Cycle and the ability of Mars to host life on that planet.

Scientists have proved that all the materials present on the surface of  Mars have a biotic origin and that it could be due to the pre-existence of life on that planet.
